OS 2.9 on Urendu: Music from Roon to DAC stops

I installed 2.9 as instructed. Install appears normal and without error messages. Urendu recognizes appropriate DAC (Denafrips Terminator 2). I set up Roon to play to Urendu with 2.9. Music plays for 30-60 secs then stops and can’t be restarted. Only rebooting the Urendu will allow music to restart , but then stops again.

I returned to 2.8 and have had no difficulties. Any advice about fixing this?
