When I play DSD 128 the DAC displays DSD 64, plays it as if a 64, on i2s inputs. If I play the same file over USB it displays DSD 128.Comment

The server will behave different with different renderers because there is a handshake and exchange of capabilities. The Rendu has no onboard DSP so if you are getting PCM then it’s coming from JRiver based on its configuration.Originally posted by bahringe View Post
This should avoid any DSP at the server. In JRiver Generic DLNA/Audio/Mode select Original. Do not select bitstream and see what happens with DSD64 and DSD128. If that doesn’t work, select bitstream and retest. In both cases have volume at 100% at the server.SONORE computer audio
