There is nothing else on the list. When I open Audio in Roon this is what I see.

When I open the sT port this is how it's labeled.

    There are no other choices.

Do I have any options or is the hope for 5.1 on my sT finished?

        tmauceri,
I have experienced similar connection problems with HDMI output to NAD T778. No HDMI outputs are identified within Roon settings. The only option is HDA Intel PCH ALC622 rev3 Analog.

I'm wondering if this is a hardware issue. Either the sT or my Outlaw Audio 976 pre/pro. Which sT do you have? When did you purchase it? My i5 was purchased in Dec 2019.

So we both have Generation 2 i5 sT's. I did a little research (Google) and found that there is an issue for sound output with HDA Intel PCH chips. But there is a fix and it involves a code edit. Perhaps the powers at SGC can figure out the edit or include it in a new sT update.

Hi. I’m having the same issue too.
I connected my i9 directly to Marantz AV8805, but I just can’t get HDMI input.
                This is what I get.
