Volume leveling

At some previous time I thought I saw an optional setting in the SGC or Roon for equalizing the volume of recordings.

I had my entire system off for nearly 4 months while having my tube amps rebuilt and upgraded. Now that they are back, I notice more difference in volume between different songs.

Is there in fact a setting that will allow for volume averaging or is it something that may do nothing but corrupt the sound.
